Scott Stapp Got His Ass KickedThat's right!
Scott Stapp, the ex-frontman of
the worst band in the history of mankind,
Creed, was badly beaten at a Baltimore, Maryland hotel bar and restaurant by members of
311. The fight started after Scott threw a shot glass at the table where 311 was sitting. Shortly thereafter he sucker-punched Chad Sexton, 311's drummer, and in the process inadvertently punched the lead singer's wife. They then proceeded to beat the living shit out of him. So much so that 311's lead singer broke his hand on Scott's face...
...And that's the best thing that's ever happened.
Additionally: You must read the article it's hilarious. Plus, for more fun click on the link to the Creed site and click on the "Memories Scrapbook" section at the bottom right. One of the notes says:
"
big creed!!!!!!!!! big scott stapp!!!!!! i love you creed!!!!!! im brazil do not inglesh."
Yes, I'm Brazil too.
Here's another choice gem from the "Memories Scrapbook"
"
I am a drummer for a band called Ascention. I hope you all are good christans because its very important the most important thing to me actualy and I think you guys are because some of the songs I hear you guys play connects with god."
Jesus Christ. Are these people serious? Fuckin' hell.
Similarly, if you haven't felt pain today, go to the official Scott Stapp website to check out the lead single for his new album,
The Great Divide. According to Scott's website, his new album is a "combination of The Doors and Led Zeppelin, with a mixture of grooves that 'make your 15's thump in the back' and then riddling all that together with his powerful vocals and intense emotion."
Well, when you put it that way, how can I resist?
In Actual Music News:
The Drive-By Truckers have
completed their 7th studio album,
A Blessing, and A Curse, and it will be out in April 2006. Expect the leaked version any day now. I'm literally salivating.
