Bela Fleck and the Flecktones-
Big Country (From Live at the Quick)I just got another copy of
Live at the Quick (Thanks Goiter) because I think "flashlight boy" a.k.a. "Mr. Fabulous" a.k.a. "Plunger" stole mine. I also recovered a lot of double-stolen CD's which Mr. Fab stole from me and, in turn, Goiter stole from Fab. There's no telling how many of my cd's Plunger still has. This is my favorite song on the CD, although the entire thing is incredible.
Yoko Ono and Ween-
Ask the DragonI swear to God, this is a real thing. I couldn't believe it myself. I implore you to download this hilarious collabo.
George Harrison and Bob Dylan-
YesterdayThis awesome cover was recorded on May 1st, 1970 at Columbia Studio B in New York City. That said, it's awesome. Get it now.
Lynyrd Skynyrd-
Red, White, and BlueThis song, from Skynyrd's new album
Viscous Cycle, I've determined that this is best song ever. "If you don't like it, you can just... GET THE HELL OUT!!!"
Dean Ween-
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! An excellent cut from Dean's solo album,
Rise Above. You should check it out fo sho.
Stevie Wonder-
Higher Ground (Live)Recorded live somewhere on July 14, 1973 (Exactly 13 years before my birthday, cool) Anyway, it's awesome. You should like it.
Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash-
Mountain DewAn outtake from Dylan's superb 1969 release,
Nashville Skyline. An awesome song. You can really hear the classic driving J. Cash guitar sound.
I hope to see all of you tomorrow
