The Halloweekend festivities went off without a hitch last weekend.
Ryder & Nils completed a nine panel mural for
Auburn University's
Annual Pumpkin Carving. The piece, as you can see, is fuckin' incredible.
Ryder posed for some shots with his masterpiece.
Later that night Rollie, Matt, and I hosted our first major party at our new pad.
Jon Mosman and his girlfriend, Jessica, came all the way down from Tuscaloosa to join in the festivities.
In fact, the entire Mobile Bay gang was able to attend.
The costumes were great, of course.
Caroline and Laci re-enacted
a famous scene from
this post.
David was a pimp.
Rollie was the undead
Max was, I'm guessing, Van Gogh based on the paint brushes in his pocket, and the blood on his face, but I could be wrong. He really wasn't drinking enough to be Van Gogh. Oh well.
Matt was a Southern Baptist youth leader.
Richard was Ignignokt, the Mooninite...
... and a lawman.
As for me, I had planned on being
David Cross as
Tobias Fünke as
Mrs. Featherbottom. This decision was finally reached upon the suggestion of Trent. However, by the time Saturday arrived, I had failed to make the necessary arrangements for the costume, and time ran out. I decided to improvise. I used the red white and black makeup included in Rollie's $2 Halloween makeup kit. I used all of it. I still had a brown wig to work with, and after standing in front of a mirror for a while just putting layer and layers of shit on my face, I decided on a costume. I smeared all the makeup on my face and I became
Clown on the Skids:
I think that all-in-all the costume came out pretty good, and a fun time was had by all.
