I've just created
a new site to keep up with the playlists of
Chandler and my new radio show on
WEGL 91.1 FM:
The Dr. Rock & Capt. Fantasy Show.
If you didn't get to listen to the show last Sunday, check out what you missed.
Thanks to everyone for their support of the show.
A real update coming eventually, I promise.
Chandler and I finally got the official time slot for the radio show.
The Dr. Rock & Capt. Fantasy Show will premiere on
Sunday November 20th at
8:00 PM on
WEGL 91.1 FM.
For those of you that aren't in the
Lee County area, you can listen to the show on
WEGL's website in streaming audio.
I hope everyone will tune in next Sunday. It's going to be madness.
This is actually pretty old news, but it's new to me, so it's new to you; whether you knew it or not.
Last night I was on
Wikipedia, and one thing literally lead to another and I ended up at
Primus. After reading all the information they had, I moved on to the biography of one,
Leslie Edward Claypool.
According to
this, The Almighty Colonel,
Les Claypool is directing a film.
Set for release in Spring 2006, the movie is titled "
Electric Apricot". Basically,
Electric Apricot is to jam bands as
This is Spinal Tap was to heavy metal.
Judging by
the trailer, and the inclusion of big names from the jam scene, namely Mike Gordon and
Warren Haynes, this should be pretty funny. Unfortunately, I have no expectation that this will ever make it into theaters, much less Auburn's theater. Oh well, I'll just buy it.
